Deputy, officer wrangle stubborn cow in Sandy neighborhood, keep it moo-ving’ home

SANDY, Ore. — Law enforcement helped ‘steer’ a stubborn cow back home on Tuesday after the roughly 1,200-pound bovine got loose in a Sandy neighborhood.

The Multnomah County Sheriff’s Office said one of their deputies, Deputy Roach, came across a Sandy Police officer in pursuit of the livestock.

“As a lateral hire from the Clackamas County Sheriff’s Office, Deputy Roach had his rural policing instincts kick in,” MCSO officials said…
