Nigerian Dwarf buck goat found wandering around Aloha returned to owner

PORTLAND, Ore. (KOIN) — A goat found wandering around the Aloha area last week has been successfully reunited with its owner, the Washington County Sheriff’s Office announced.

Identified as a Nigerian Dwarf buck goat, the animal was found near Southwest Davis Road and Southwest 165th Avenue next to Mount Williams Park on Dec. 27.

Originally, deputies said the goat was headed to the Bonnie Hays Animal Shelter. However, a local family farm has since opened up its home to the animal, caring for it while the search for an owner continued.
