Beaverton man dies after crash on historic covered bridge in New Hampshire

CORNISH, N.H. (ABC22/FOX44) – An Oregon man is dead two weeks after he was hit by a car on a historic bridge over the Connecticut River.

Michael Iwanchuk, 52, of Beaverton, Oregon, reportedly died in the hospital on Monday.

New Hampshire State Police said that they were alerted about the crash in the early afternoon of December 18. They say that Iwanchuk was walking on the bridge when he was hit by a car.
