The Multnomah County jail inmate who died Christmas Eve has been identified as 42-year-old Shristika Nath, authorities said Wednesday.
The county sheriff’s office said she died during a “medical event.”
Portland police booked Nath into the Northeast Portland Inverness Jail on Dec. 21. She was facing charges of unauthorized use of a vehicle, possession of a stolen vehicle and first-degree theft, the Multnomah County Sheriff’s Office said in a statement…
