Roseburg police arrest Portland man linked to stolen car, fake IDs, meth possession

ROSEBURG, Ore. — A routine patrol by the Roseburg Police led to the arrest of a Portland man in connection with a stolen vehicle and multiple other charges.

On Jan. 6 at 1:37 p.m., officers stopped a 2003 Ford F150 at 2125 NW Stewart Parkway Drive after discovering the vehicle’s license plate was reported stolen. The driver, who initially identified himself as “Peter Washovsky,” was unable to provide identification.

Upon further investigation, officers determined the vehicle and its plates were stolen from the Portland area. A search of the vehicle revealed over twelve grams of methamphetamine, several fictitious identifications featuring the driver’s photograph, and equipment used for creating fake IDs, including printers and photopaper…
