Two women wanted by police arrested at Portland ICE protest

PORTLAND, Ore. (KOIN) — As around 150 protested outside the Portland ICE facility Saturday night, police said they arrested two women who were wanted on charges for “previous, unrelated events.”

Officers monitoring the protest said they first recognized a 27-year-old woman wanted for harassment, after she pushed an officer at a protest at the ICE facility on Friday. She was taken into custody, police said.

Jennifer Bitgood, 43, was then arrested on a warrant for unlawful use of a weapon and coercion.

Police said those charges stemmed from a shooting in late Dec. 2025 in Southeast Portland, where another person was arrested and charged with attempted murder…
