OREGON CITY Ore. (KPTV) – As of Jan. 2, Oregon City began enforcing its Civil Exclusion Zone (CEZ) that covers its downtown area.
According to Oregon City Police, people who commit “nuisance crimes,” such as disorderly conduct, harassment or public intoxication, could be temporarily banned from the CEZ. This comes after the city council unanimously voted to approve the CEZ last month.
The CEZ stretches across Main Street from Fifth Street to 18th Street, Highway 99 East from Fifth Street to 18th Street, Washington Street and Center Streets from Seventh Street to 17th Street, as well as Singer Hill Road…
