Hey Portland, up for a completely dry week? Monday starts 5+ days of no rain

How does an entire week of no umbrellas or raincoats sound? If you commute to work or school by bus, by feet, or by bike, you’ll be dry each day this week. And temperatures will be almost spring-like.

The National Weather Service says a quite rare and sturdy high pressure system will set up over the Pacific Northwest and remain anchored there through the week. Forecast models even show this strong high pressure sticking around into next week. The main result will be dry weather, above average temps, and light winds in Portland with some stronger winds later in the week near the Columbia River Gorge.
