Boys, 12 and 15, accused in Portland homicide, police say

Portland and Vancouver police arrested a 12-year-old boy and a 15-year-old boy Wednesday in connection with the death of Santi Ram Rai, a convenience store clerk killed in Southeast Portland on Dec. 9.

Police arrested the 12-year-old on suspicion of first degree murder and the 15-year-old on suspicion of murder in the second degree, they said Wednesday, as well as allegations of robbery, unlawful use of a weapon and unlawful use of a motor vehicle.
