Keeping it dry but still plenty of weather alerts around the PNW

PORTLAND, Ore. (KOIN) — The strong ridge of high pressure remains over the PNW heading into the start of this upcoming week, meaning we are still going to see plenty of dry and sunny days for the long-term forecast. It’s not until Friday and into Saturday that we finally start to see Portland’s rain chances increase.

Afternoon temperatures will continue to max out into the low 50s across the metro area until the middle part of the workweek.

We could still see some breezy moments come Sunday around PDX with gusts in the 30 mph zone.

As for overnight lows, the Portland metro will see temps drop into the mid 30s, while Tuesday morning looks to be the coldest morning over the next seven with temps expected to fall into the low 30s. Thus, areas of frost is expected Sunday morning through next week…
