A notorious Portland nightclub owner convicted in the 1990 murder of a 21-year-old employee was arrested on Friday in Clackamas County, jail records show.
Larry Hurwitz, 71, is being held in the Clackamas County Jail on suspicion of fourth degree assault and a parole violation.
Hurwitz was the owner of Portland’s Starry Night nightclub in the late 1980’s. He was convicted in the murder of Timothy Moreau, whose body was never found.
