Stella’s Ice Cream — a franchise that specializes in small-batch, handmade ice cream — will soon open its first store in Oregon, locating in Sherwood’s Parkway South Retail Center.
Jenifer Nelles, who will run the new business with her husband, Eric, said she hopes construction on the new store will begin next month with plans to have it open by the end of May, if possible.
“We’re excited,” she said. “Stella’s was started in Idaho by a family and they just started franchising maybe a year and a half ago. So the closest to us is in probably Eagle, Idaho.”…
