A man convicted of murder, drug and tax charges over the past three decades was arrested in Sandy for an alleged domestic violence incident.
Larry Hurwitz, 71, of Sandy, who was the Portland “Starry Night Murderer,” was taken into custody Friday, Jan. 16, by the Sandy Police Department. He is being held at the Clackamas County Jail for harassment as well as a parole violation hold.
Police say the victim was unable to report the incident for several days, until they disclosed the violence to an employee of a local business. That person then alerted law enforcement…
