OREGON, USA — Last Christmas was the best and worst day of Lexi Armstrong and her fiancé Zachary Johnson’s lives.
Lexi was 25 weeks pregnant with twins, and the couple decided it was time to take the next step together. With plenty of time before the babies were due, the couple started to move from Portland to Grand Forks, North Dakota. Then, on Christmas Day, surrounded by an ice storm in the middle of a North Dakota roadway, the unfathomable happened.
