Portland woman whose 4-year-old died when she drove drunk is sentenced

A woman who was intoxicated when she collided head-on with another driver in North Portland in 2024 was sentenced to 10½ years in prison Friday.

Prosecutors said Angelina Minor’s son, Kingston Coston, was in a child safety seat that hadn’t been properly installed, leading to the 4-year-old’s death during the crash in the St. Johns neighborhood on March 20, 2024.
