PORTLAND, Ore. — On day four of a manhunt for a suspect who shot and wounded two officers on Monday, the Portland Police Bureau (PPB) says it is working through a high volume of tips from the community.
PPB spokesperson Mike Benner says of the 180 tips the bureau received, they believe 150 to be actionable. The agency urged the public to continue sharing more video and tips to help identify and locate the man.
“The stance from the Police Bureau is in all-hands-on-deck posture right now, both within our investigative resources and our uniform personnel. Everybody is playing a role. The outpouring of information we’ve gotten from our community has been wonderful. We encourage everybody to continue sending in tips,” said Sgt. Matthew Jacobson on Friday…
