PORTLAND, Ore. (KATU) — Portland Fire and Rescue responded to the area of Northeast Marine Drive and Northeast 33rd Drive for a confined space rescue.
On X, Portland Fire says their technical rescue team was headed to help free a trapped individual inside a tunnel, but they were able to get out on their own.
“The victim tunneled into a large piece of foam under a poured concrete deck. They felt like they were going to be unable to self-extricate successfully so called 911 and initiated an emergency response,” Portland Fire said…
