PORTLAND, Ore. (KOIN) — More than 100 Oregon workers will be impacted by the acquisition of an alcohol distribution company.
A Worker Adjustment and Retraining Notification issued on Thursday shows 177 employees of Three Pirates, LLC, which does business as Point Blank Distributing, will no longer work for the business as of March 31. The announcement came just days after fellow wholesaling company Columbia Distributing revealed it would be acquiring Point Blank in the coming months.

Founded about 25 years ago, Point Blank distributes products from dozens of adult beverage brands including Stormbreaker Brewing, Happy Dad and Tumalo Cider Co. The 1935-founded Columbia also serves the beverage industry, carrying alcoholic and non-alcoholic brands like 2 Towns Ciderhouse, Crux Fermentation Project and Calypso.
