PORTLAND, Ore. (KOIN) — A driver went to the hospital after a truck crashed through an apartment in Vancouver on Friday afternoon, authorities said.
The Vancouver Fire Department said they responded at around 4:30 p.m. at the apartment complex off of Southeast 139th Avenue.

When firefighters arrived, they found the truck lodged inside a wall of the building and not running. Crews extricated the vehicle’s sole occupant, who was able to exit the truck of their own volition. The driver was taken to a hospital by ambulance and their condition is unknown.
The sole occupant of the damaged apartment was displaced. The extent of the costs of the damage is unknown…
