PORTLAND, Ore. — Gresham-based sweets company iCandy is set to open its second location Saturday inside Troutdale’s former Soda Bar Cafe.
Co-owner Sydney Joyner said the Troutdale shop, located at 289 E. Historic Columbia River Highway, preserves many of the soda bar’s original features, including the mirrored back bar. The old-fashioned soda fountain remains in place, though it is for display only because it was never operational, she said.
