PORTLAND, Ore. (KATU) — The ramp to eastbound I-84 from I-5 northbound was closed near Southeast Water Avenue after a fatal crash early Monday morning.
Just after 5:30 a.m., Portland Police confirmed that a pedestrian had been struck on the freeway.
“Paramedics arrived at the scene and transported the person to an area hospital, where they later died,” Portland Police said in a release. “The driver of the involved vehicle remained at the scene.”…
