It was a rough Sunday for one Multnomah County patrol SUV and a worse one for the man accused of crashing into it. A driver was taken into custody after his vehicle struck an occupied Multnomah County Sheriff’s Office patrol SUV, and photos released by the agency show the cruiser took a serious hit. Despite the heavy damage, deputies inside the marked vehicle were not seriously injured, according to the sheriff’s office.
Photos Show Crumpled Cruiser, Deputies Walk Away
In a post on the Multnomah County Sheriff’s Office Facebook page, the agency shared images of the damaged marked SUV and reported that the driver was arrested at the scene and taken into custody. The same update noted that the two deputies inside the vehicle were evaluated after the crash but did not suffer serious injuries.
