PORTLAND, Ore. (KOIN) — A house fire in Vancouver on Wednesday morning claimed the life of one individual and a dog, Vancouver Fire announced.
The fire occurred around 7:45 a.m. at 2305 E. 6th St.
“A total of seven Vancouver Fire units were dispatched, with 22 firefighters responding to the scene. The incident involved a one-story fourplex housing unit. The fire was contained to a single unit and was quickly addressed upon crews’ arrival,” officials said.
