Fogo de Chão, the Brazilian steakhouse chain that arrived in downtown Portland in 2014 “like a Maserati parked near a row of Subarus,” will open its first suburban Portland restaurant next week.
The steakhouse is known for its churrasco experience ($52 lunch/$69 dinner), a centuries-old cooking method featuring skewered meats seared over an open flame, will open at the Bridgeport Village mall in Tigard on Monday, Feb. 9.
The steakhouse, which plans to donate 10% of its first week of sales to the Oregon Food Bank, will join other recent additions to the mall such as Tigard-Tualatin’s first Salt & Straw, Oregon’s second Lego store and a Chanel Fragrance & Beauty outpost…
