PORTLAND, Ore. (KPTV) – February is Heart Health Month, a time to raise awareness about heart disease and its causes, especially in women. Nearly 45% of women age 20 and older are living with some form of heart disease and one in every five deaths of women are from it.
Angelica De Leon Klein cares about her health and tries to stay healthy, so when she suffered a heart attack at 49 years old, it came as a shock.
