PORTLAND, Ore. (KATU) — Portland’s new City Administrator, Raymond C. Lee III, announced the city will hire a contractor to audit the recently discovered $106 million in unspent funds.
City councilors have taken issue with the delayed revelation of the unspent funds they were not able to make use of during the past budget cycle, when they were required to make tough decisions during a tight budget year.
