Oregon skier’s Olympic downhill ends in dramatic finish

Portland skier Jaqueline “Jackie” Wiles finished fourth in the women’s downhill at the 2026 Milan Cortina Olympics on Feb. 8, just missing an Olympic medal.

Wiles, 33, a four-time Olympian, finished her run with a time of 1:36.96, only three tenths of a second behind the bronze medal winner, Sofia Goggia of Italy, who finished in 1:36.69.
