The weather in Portland this winter has been … not super wintery.
The final month of 2025 was the warmest December on record for the city, and while January’s average temperature was close to normal, it was dry, with the Portland International Airport getting 2.4 inches less precipitation than normal.
Now, nearly midway through what is supposed to be the coldest month of the year, the state is in a “snow drought,” and February so far has been exceptionally warm…
