The city of Troutdale and travelers along one of the busiest roadways in East Multnomah County are celebrating what has become another feather in the cap for the regional roads crew.
Multnomah County Transportation hosted a celebration Tuesday, Feb. 10, to mark the completion of a years long, sweeping improvement project at 257th Avenue. From safety upgrades for pedestrians and bicyclists, improved road surfaces for motorists, and a whole bunch of updates to get students to school safely, there were plenty of reasons for those officials to be beaming.
“These improvements were shaped by community input,” said Commissioner Vince Jones Dixon. “This will have a lasting impact for those who live in East County.”…
