Portland police release new details in Johnson Creek homicide investigation

PORTLAND, Ore. (KPTV) – The Portland Police Bureau has released more details in a homicide investigation that has been ongoing since late last year.

On Tuesday, Dec. 30, 2025, 32-year-old Jamal Rodgers was found submerged in Johnson Creek near Southeast 102nd Avenue and Southeast Foster Road in the Lents neighborhood.
