Portland cocktail lovers have spent the week mulling over a confounding mystery.
Expatriate, the renowned Northeast Portland cocktail bar that was named The Oregonian/OregonLive’s Best New Bar in 2014 and ranked No. 32 on the 2016 list of Portland’s Best Restaurants appears to be closed for good.
The news broke on Reddit on Tuesday evening, when a user posted a photo of a sign taped to the bar’s door that read: “Life is just a party, and parties weren’t meant to last. Our privilege, these 4,595 nights. Thank you. Love, KLW et al.” The sign remained in place Friday…
