‘A landmark’: Sheridan Fruit Company set to close after 110 years in business

PORTLAND, Ore. (KOIN) — Sheridan Fruit Company, a landmark in Portland’s Central Eastside, is officially closing Friday after 110 years in business.

In a message posted on the store’s website, the company shared it will officially be shutting down with its final day being Feb. 13.

“It is with a heavy heart that we announce the closure of Sheridan Fruit Company. After 110 years of serving this community, our final day of service will be Friday, February 13th, 2026,” the message said.
