SUNDAY, FEB. 8
• 1:29 a.m. — Troopers responded to a single-vehicle crash on Highway 58 about 3 miles east of Oakridge that took the lives of Anais Spring Rowell, 25, of Oakridge, and Malia Kana Malo, 24, of Oakridge. OSP’s preliminary investigation indicated that Rowell was driving an eastbound Toyota Tacoma when it left the roadway for unknown reasons and struck a tree head-on. Rowell and Malo were declared deceased at the scene. Neither occupant was wearing a seatbelt…
