Oregon’s largest city is locked under a cold gray sky this morning, and damp streets across Portland signal a messy February stretch ahead. At 39 degrees, the air feels brisk, and steady rain is falling across downtown and along I-5.
Showers continue through late morning with highs near 43 degrees. According to the National Weather Service in Portland, snow levels drop from around 2,000 feet to near 800 feet tonight.
