Monday morning, Portland Police Officers assigned to Central Precinct responded to a report of a drive-by shooting in the area of Southeast Van Water Street and Southeast 36th Avenue. The victim called 911 to report their vehicle had been hit by gunfire and gave a description of the suspect vehicle. The victim reported there were no injuries.
Officers found the suspect vehicle at the 24 Hour Fitness located at 4546 Southeast McLoughlin Boulevard. Witnesses described seeing the suspect enter the 24 Hour Fitness, discard property and then leave the location on foot. Officers took the man into custody after he exited the building. The suspect has been identified as Kordayle ReLa Dorley, 19, of Portland and he is being charged with Attempted Murder, Attempted Assault in the first degree, Unlawful Possession of a Firearm, Unlawful Use of a Weapon and Unlawful Discharge of a Firearm…
