OREGON CITY, Ore. — An investigation is underway after a woman died while being booked into the Clackamas County Jail, the county sheriff’s office said Thursday.
On Wednesday, Oregon City police arrested a 46-year-old woman on charges of disorderly conduct and second-degree criminal mischief, then brought her to the jail around 10:45 p.m. for booking.
According to the Clackamas County Sheriff’s Office, the woman “became uncooperative” during booking, and deputies tried to restrain her. During that process, the woman became unresponsive…
