Driver facing manslaughter after Hillsboro crash injures 3, kills 1

PORTLAND, Ore. (KOIN) — A driver is facing manslaughter and multiple other charges after Hillsboro police say he crashed his car into a pole, which left three passengers injured and one dead Tuesday night.

Around 8:45 p.m., officers responded to reports of a crash at the intersection of Northeast Ronler Drive and Century Boulevard.

Officers arrived, finding four people inside the vehicle. The driver, 19-year-old Oscar Regis, had run away from the scene but was soon found and detained by police, officials said.
