Brothers who allegedly fired dozens of rounds into air, ground in Northeast Portland are arrested

Portland police say they have arrested two brothers who allegedly fired dozens of rounds into the air and ground at a Northeast Portland parking lot last weekend.

Police responded to reports of shots fired in the 15700 block of Northeast Glisan Street the morning of Sunday, Feb. 15. When the arrived, officers found 32 shell casings from two different calibers of ammunition, the Portland Police Bureau said in a news release.

Police learned two suspects had allegedly fired shots into the air and the ground before entering a nearby smoke shop. Officers surrounded the building and called out to the suspects, who surrendered and were taken into custody…
