PORTLAND, Ore. (KOIN) — Two surfers were rescued off of Cape Kiwanda Beach Saturday afternoon after they had been caught in a rip current in the waters, officials say.
Nestucca Rural Fire Protection District says crews were dispatched to the beach for a possible high-angle rescue after one of the surfers was able to make it back to shore with the help from other surfers in the area.
