Ajinomoto Chicken Fried Rice Recall Affects 3.3 Million Pounds Nationwide 20-oz. plastic bag packages of frozen TRADER JOE’S Chicken Fried Rice

An Ajinomoto chicken fried rice recall has been issued for approximately 3,370,530 pounds of frozen not ready-to-eat chicken fried rice products that may be contaminated with foreign material, specifically glass, according to the U.S. Department of Agriculture’s Food Safety and Inspection Service (FSIS).

Ajinomoto Foods North America, Inc., based in Portland, Oregon, produced the affected products between September 8, 2025, and November 17, 2025.

20-oz. plastic bag packages of frozen “TRADER JOE’S Chicken Fried Rice with stir fried rice, vegetables, seasoned dark chicken meat and eggs”…
