According to the Portland Metro Chamber, two-million more people visited downtown Portland in 2025 than 2024, which was an almost seven percent increase.
“That it’s really events and things that are happening in downtown (Portland) that are bringing people in,” Southpark Seafood’s Jason Gerlt said. “(With) promotions happening, people are out and about.”
Even so, there are still factors that have not been corrected since the pandemic that has local eateries recovering almost five years later…
