Kroger’s plans to shutter dozens of underperforming locations is in full swing.
The Fred Meyer and QFC parent company announced in June that it intended to close approximately 60 stores over the next 18 months. A few months later, a longstanding Northeast Portland Fred Meyer in Gateway Shopping Center closed its doors.
