Accused drug trafficker arrested in Southeast Portland bust

PORTLAND, Ore. (KOIN) — A suspected drug dealer wanted on multiple felony warrants was arrested by Portland police on Tuesday during a coordinated law enforcement effort targeting open-air drug activity.

According to Portland police, officers were working in the area near NE 122nd and Glisan where they gathered information on a possible drug trafficker wanted on multiple felony warrants.

The suspect was found at an apartment complex near 12600 SE Stark Street and taken into custody.

At the time of the arrest, police said they found fentanyl and “a substantial amount of cash.” Given this discovery, investigators obtained a warrant to search the suspect’s home.

That second search yielded 57 grams of fentanyl, one gram of methamphetamine, 29 grams of psylocibin mushrooms, 27 suspected counterfeit Xanax pills, a firearm and ammunition, multiple stolen ID cards, a commercial-grade ID printer, stolen checks, and a manipulated/stolen passport…
