OREGON – Gas prices in Oregon have surged, with the average price rising 7.7 cents per gallon over the past week, now hitting $3.85 per gallon. This marks a dramatic 44.3-cent increase from a month ago and a 16.6-cent rise compared to last year.
In Eugene, prices have jumped by 10 cents to $3.84 per gallon. Meanwhile, Salem and Portland have seen increases of 4.4 cents and 8.8 cents, respectively.
Patrick De Haan, head of petroleum analysis at GasBuddy, said, “The national average price of gasoline has climbed for a fourth straight week, driven primarily by seasonal tightening and broader market dynamics.”…
