TILLAMOOK, Ore. (KPTV/Gray News) – An Oregon man says he wouldn’t have survived a house fire if not for his 9-week-old kitten waking him up.
Donald VanWormer, the longtime owner of Alternative Solutions Dispensary in Portland, says he was asleep two weeks ago in his Tillamook home when his 9-week-old kitten, Fred, woke him to flames.
“Rowing, scratching on me, freaking out. I looked up, and the flames were already through the whole attic,” VanWormer said…
