PORTLAND, Ore. (KOIN) — From the delicious cheddar of Tillamook Creamery to the creamy cottage cheese of Umpqua Dairy, without a doubt, Oregon has some gouda cheese.
That fact was backed up by the recent World Championship Cheese Contest, where three Oregon creameries were ranked highly across several categories.
Umpqua Dairy in Roseburg took home both first and second place in the Reduced or Low-Fat Cottage Cheese category.
