PORTLAND, Ore. — Portland officers arrested a suspect who they said was armed and had multiple drugs on him while addressing camping tents blocking a sidewalk.
On Wednesday, officers were focusing on the tents near Northeast 119th Avenue and Northeast Halsey Street when they saw a man with a holstered firearm, detaining him at the scene. Police referred to the suspect as a “crumb dealer.”
The suspect, identified as 41-year-old Ian M. Harrower, had two loaded firearms; multiple pre-packaged narcotics; and $811 in cash, most $1 bills, according to the Portland Police Bureau.
