An Oregon man has been arrested after several neighbors and local residents accused him of repeatedly threatening people with different weapons over the past few weeks. The man, identified as Dustin Rotbart, is now facing multiple serious charges. Authorities say his behavior created fear in the community and forced several neighbors to change their daily routines to stay safe.

Who Is Dustin Rotbart and Why Was He Arrested?

Dustin Rotbart, 40, is currently being held at the Multnomah County Detention Center in Portland, Oregon. He was taken into custody on February 23 after police responded to a disturbance at a local business. According to reports, Rotbart was banging on the business windows and creating a scene that worried staff and customers.

When officers arrived, they arrested him and later filed several felony charges against him. Due to the seriousness of the allegations, a judge ordered that he be held without bail.

Authorities say this was not an isolated incident. Police had already received several complaints about Rotbart’s behavior in the days and weeks before his arrest.

Just nine days before his arrest, on February 14, Rotbart allegedly threatened people at the same Portland business with a knife. According to court documents, he reportedly asked customers inside the establishment, “Do you want to get stabbed? Do you want to die today?”…
