Vancouver firefighters quickly douse early-morning balcony fire; residents evacuate safely

VANCOUVER, Wash. (KATU) — Vancouver Fire responded to a balcony fire in the 3000 block of Northeast 109th Avenue just after 4:30 a.m. Tuesday.

“The first arriving fire engine found a second-story back deck on fire and extinguished it with a hose line,” Vancouver Fire said.
