Mother, daughter charged in Portland bar fight that fractured employee’s jaw

PORTLAND, Ore. (KOIN) — A Portland woman and her family are facing a myriad of assault charges after getting into a fist fight with staff at a popular dive bar.

Marchelle Quiana Swafford, 30, is accused of hitting a Sandy Hut employee in the mouth while holding a bottle of pepper spray. The employee was knocked unconscious, bleeding, and had broken teeth after being struck.
